Happy 4th!

We spent the day in LaCrosse with Troy's family...with plenty of fireworks to go around. The boys lit "legal" fireworks all day long, the girls had their annual tank race, we played bean bag toss, BBQ'd, and then at night we all went down to the park for the big fireworks.

Then on Saturday, Emily's family came to Cheney to celebrate her brother Tyler's birthday and say goodbye to Julia, their foreign exchange student. More bean bag toss! We also got to tape record a message to send to Emily's other brother, Jake, who is stationed in Afghanistan. It makes you appreciate our independence even more when someone you love is out there fighting for it.

All in all, it was a great weekend!
